I'm an aspiring magazine writer and editor with a passion for all things entertainment. My drugs of choice include but are not limited to: Supernatural, Hannibal, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Grimm, Arrow, Vampire Diaries, Once Upon A Time.

Blast from the Past
The issue on the left is the very first issue I ever read of Seventeen magazine (or any magazine for that matter) back in 1997 at around 12 years old. I still remember it to this day because it’s starting point of what made me want to go into magazine journalism and set me down the path I am on now. It’s so weird to see how the magazine’s changed since 1997 to its most recent February issue, but it always helps me to remember to dream big and never give up on what you really want to do in life!

"It doesn’t make good business sense to stay the same. Girls today have so many different role models they wouldn’t stand for it if they only saw the same thing every time they looked at Seventeen." -Atoosa Rubenstein, Seventeen editor-in-chief 2003-2006
